Basic Setup

 
  1. Open the LinkedIn Campaign Manager: https://www.linkedin.com/campaignmanager/

  2. In the left sidebar, click on Data > Signals Manager > Insight Tag.
    Then click on I will use a tag manager. Then copy the partner ID.

  3. In the Pixel Manager, open Tracking Pixels → LinkedIn and paste the partner ID into the Partner ID field.

  4. Click on Save.

Event Setup

 

We'll show how to set up the Purchase event. The same steps apply to all other events.

  1. Open the LinkedIn Campaign Manager: https://www.linkedin.com/campaignmanager/

  2. In the left sidebar, click on Data > Website actions. Then click on Create Conversion.

  3. Fill out the form:

  • Name: Purchase
  • Category: Purchase
  • Value: Use a dynamic value
  • Default value: 0
  • Timeframe
    • Clicks: 90 days
    • Views: 1 day
  • Attribution model: Last Touch - Each campaign

Then click on Next step.

  1. Click Manual conversions setup.

  2. Click on Event-specific. Copy the conversion_id. Click Create.

  3. In the Pixel Manager, open Tracking Pixels → LinkedIn and paste the conversion_id into the Purchase event ID field.

  4. Click on Save.

  5. Repeat the same steps for all other events.
