WordCamp Europe 2025: Team SweetCode Recap
We rolled up 3-man strong to WordCamp Europe 2025 - the SweetCode leadership team in full force:
Aleksandar Vucenovic (CEO), Stefan Marinkovic (Senior Marketing Manager), and Mark Koemans (Business Development Manager).
Our mission? Simple: Shake hands, bump fists, say thanks. We wanted to connect with as many folks as possible from the WordPress ecosystem — and wow, did that happen.
They were all there: From plugin devs we've followed and admired for years, to Google and WordPress Core reps, business owners, theme builders, hosting giants… the works. It felt like stepping into a living, breathing LinkedIn network, but with good vibes and zero awkwardness.
What really stood out? People. Straight up. The warmth, openness, and good energy we got from everyone - whether it was a 2-minute hallway chat or a 2-hour dinner - reminded us why we love this space. WordPress folks aren't just smart, they're good people.
Also cool? Tons of conversations around collabs - like guest blogposts, shared content, maybe even product integrations. If you talked to us: expect a follow-up. 💥
Special Shoutout: Freemius Afterparty. Let's just say… that was not your average tech mixer. Good music, great drinks, even better convos. Community done right.
